The WPX medical plans do not exclude coverage for a pre-existing condition. Full-time employees are eligible for health and group benefits upon their hire date with the company.

The WPX Dental plan is offered through CIGNA and even offers adult orthodontic coverage.
The WPX Energy Savings Plan – 401(k) – features matching and extra company contributions. WPX will match employee contributions dollar for dollar up to 6% of eligible pay and provide an annual company contribution of 6% for employees under 40 and 8% for employees age 40 and older – regardless of whether they contribute individually. In early 2019, we added $5.6 million to 401(k) accounts through our annual contribution.
The WPX Energy ESPP offers employees the ability to purchase WPX Energy stock at a discount using after-tax payroll deductions.
Everyone needs time to refresh and revitalize. The company offers a paid time off bank at the beginning of each year for employees. The amount offered is based on service time with WPX and assumed work experience beginning at age 25. Employees also receive two floating holidays each year in addition to normal calendar holidays. In 2019, employees also will receive paid time off for their birthday.
WPX encourages good nutrition, physical fitness and health assessments. You can reduce your current health premiums through the WPX Vitality wellness program if you take certain actions to stay healthy and prevent future health problems.
What’s better than passing go and collecting $200? Free parking. In Denver and Tulsa, employees used to have to pay to park. Not anymore. Now, WPX pays for the EcoPass in Denver and bus pass in Tulsa.
WPX offers adoption assistance, educational assistance, parental leave, no-cost contraceptives, an employee assistance program and opportunities to support your favorite cause or non-profit through matching gifts. Last year roughly 400 organizations benefited from our charitable giving.
