The Piceance

WPX has 221,000 net acres and operates more than 4,600 wells in Colorado’s Garfield and Rio Blanco counties.

San Juan Basin

With 160,000 net acres under lease, WPX operates 860 natural gas wells and holds a joint ownership interest in another 2,400 wells.

The Bakken

In North Dakota since December 2010, we hold approximately 80,000 net acres on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.

At our Hayes Gulch operation in the Piceance Basin, we moved frac fluid via temporary pipelines instead of trucks – eliminating some 12,000 truck trips to the well pad.
